Jef Neve received the Eugène Baie prize ! On June 27th Jef Neve received the prize "Eugène Baie I 2006-2008" , which is atributed every three years to a promising Belgian artist (former years among others Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Jan Fabre, David Claerbout). The world première of Jef Neve's first piano concerto, with the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Michel Tabachnik, was received with standing ovations at two sold out concerts in Brussels and Ghent. (Images on TV news: http://www.jefneve.be/) The JEF NEVE TRIO recently gave great concerts in Poland, Norway, Germany, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Antwerp, ... The Trio's fourth album "Soul In A Picture" was released in 2008 and the album got into the charts only a few weeks later. http://www.emarcy.com/release.php?id=235.
